“How to Change Behavior- Addressing the Communication Deficits of Students with Autism”
The primary deficit of students with autism spectrum disorder is in the area of social communication. This deficit often results in students demonstrating challenging behaviors to communicate their wants and needs. This training investigates the relationship between behavior and communication and highlights several evidence-based practices designed to increase functional communication of students with autism.
